New Repository Request ​

The repository creation channel serves as a designated space for team members to request the initiation of repositories. The purpose of this channel is to streamline and organize the process of creating repositories for different projects.

Requesting a Repository ​

To initiate the creation of a new project repository, please follow the steps below:

  1. Access the new repository request channel here.

  2. Create a New Post.

  3. Add the subject: New Repository Request.

  4. In the message body, mention or @ "Repository Managers" and please provide the following information in the specified format:

    Project: [Project Name]
    Project Type: [Type of Project - Frontend/Backend/API]
    Repository Name: [Desired Repository Name]
    Description: [Brief Description of the Project]
    Project Team Members: [List of Team Members]

Once your request is submitted, the Tooling team will create the repository and grant you access to get started.
